Chiropractic Your Spine Is The
Life Force
Of Your Body
The nervous system controls
the function of virtually every aspect of our lives so maintaining
a properly functioning nervous system is essential if you want
to feel your very best.
A Subluxation is what a Chiropractor is primarily
correcting on a daily basis; this is where a joint goes beyond its
normal range of motion and it will either
fixate or subluxate.
This
subluxation creates a lot of pain and restriction in the joint articulation
and this may apply to any joint in the
body such as:feet, ankles,
knees, shoulders, elbows hands, and of course the neck,
mid and low back areas.

Scoliosis Neurologic switch in the physical body similar to a dyslexia but in the neuro muscular system interrelated primarily to the gait mechanism.
Anterior (front) and posterior (back) switches (reflexes) that sit in the base and upper chakras (nerve centres) that align and stabilize the human frame. When these become confused then the Neuro muscular system switches from contraction to relaxation in the long spinal musculature and get stuck in the upper back the spine is pulled either concave on the right and convex on the left o r vice versa giving a high shoulder on one side, concomitantly then the lower neuromuscular switches will pull into contraction and create an opposite effect in the lower spine.
The base reflexes are the most important as they are initiated by the gait mechanism driving the messages up through the body and back down again to enable the movement of the skeletal structure. The end point is the sphenoid also known as the pelvis of the skull. The sphenoid will shift inferior on the left in a dyslexic child or adult. There sometimes is dyslexia associated with scoliosis but not necessarily. Scoliosis is not a spinal problem but a Neuro muscular switch where by the spine gets caught in the middle.

Is Chiropractic claimable

Enhanced Primary Care
The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program was introduced in 1999 to encourage multidisciplinary care and improve the management of chronic disease. In July 2004 the Federal Government introduced Allied Health Medical Benefits Schedule items to the program. These items were designed to improve care of persons with chronic conditions and complex care needs by funding a limited number of allied health services for patients in the EPC program.
Do I qualify for the EPC program and what must I do?
Usually Patients who have a chronic or terminal condition can have a
GP Management Plan service and Patients who have complex care needs can also have a Team Care Arrangements service. The best thing is to contact your local doctor and see if you are eligible for the program. If you are eligible, medicare can cover up to 5 visits from allied health services a year, this includes physiotherapy.
Patients must pay up front and present their paperwork to medicare for claiming of chiropractic services under the EPC program.
Remember without the appropriate paperwork done by your local doctor, you will not be able to claim chiropractic services off medicare. Talk to your doctor first before making an appointment.
