Dr. Ferreri established that from the beginning of the brains evolution, there have always been 4 primary neurological patterns, which have effectively regulated the survival of the body. These 4 patterns are known as primary survival patterns:
1. The Feeding Pattern - to ensure energy availability
2. Fight/Flight Pattern - to deal with external stressors
3. Reproduction Pattern - to ensure the continuation of the species
4. Limbic/ Immune System Pattern - fighting stressors from within
Anything that we do in our daily lives is related to one or all aspects of these survival patterns. They function just like a basic computer program that oversees the function of the whole system. Dr. Ferreri discovered that many health conditions and nervous system disorders are a direct result of defects found in the primary survival organization of the brain.
The effect of neurological defects at this primary level can be compared to a person wanting to speak or write, but not knowing the ABC. According to Dr. Ferreri, these disturbances are very common and are involved in almost all diseases.
In essence therefore it is the aim of the N.O.T. treatment protocols to reverse any dis-ease patterns by finding and correcting the underlying neurological imbalances that come as a result of defects within the survival mechanisms of the brain.
N.O.T. is a very scientific and powerful tool for preventative medicine, especially when combined with your “blood type diet” and a suitable exercise program.
PHILOSOPHY OF N.O.T.
As all wholistic medicine does, N.O.T. sees the body as a wholistic organism and will therefore always treat the whole body. N.O.T. does this by re-organizing the 4 earlier mentioned survival systems in relation to whatever disturbance the body is experiencing.
Just like any external computer, our brain-bio computer uses many programs to function. N.O.T has effectively mapped those programmes and it's effects in the body and is able to reach right down into the early neurological survival mechanisms to make sure that the body and brain have the right programs to deal with any situation in life.
RE-ORGANIZATION OF THE BRAIN IS SPECIFIC
One of the most unique aspects of N.O.T is its recognition that the re-organization of the nervous system always has to happen in relation to the specific issues that a person is dealing with.
This means that it is not enough to simply treat a person generally and then send them home. Rather it is necessary to find the specific aspect that is causing a person trouble and then directing the N.O.T. treatment process to that specific area.
For instance, if a person has difficulties sleeping, it is necessary to re-balance the person with eyes open and with eyes closed, as that is more specific to the situation. In this way, treatments are targeted and the correction of a problem, such as learning difficulties or the effects of vaccination in the body, is achieved faster and more profoundly.
HOW N.O.T. WORKS
N.O.T. treatments are done very systematically. As any dysfunction of the nervous system always shows itself somewhere in the body, N.O.T. uses a very specific treatment procedure to find where in the body a dysfunction is manifest as a result of a defect within the 4 primary survival mechanisms.
As the survival mechanisms are intimately related to the structural physical body, an N.O.T. practitioner will always first test the basic structural organization of the body and then proceed to the individual aspects of these systems. This involves kinesiological testing and correcting of length and alignments of the legs, the alignment of neck, hips and vertebraes as well as the function of specific muscles and a great number of reflex points.
All tests and corrections are done in relation to the specific health problem that a person is presenting.
| DISORDERS HELPED BY N.O.T Almost all disorders of the body respond well to N.O.T. This is because all N.O.T. treatment protocols are aimed at the underlying neurological and physiological disturbances that allow the condition to exist in the first place. |
